Gynecological pre-examination
Before treatment, a negative Pap smear (not older than 2 months) and a gynecological screening are required to ensure safety.

Preparation
The ideal time for treatment is right after menstruation. If an infection is present, it must be treated first before proceeding.

Laser vaporization
Using the Fotona® laser, the glandular tissue of the cervical erosion is precisely removed while keeping deeper layers intact.

During healing, new epithelial tissue forms, covering the treated area and eliminating symptoms — all without pain or scarring.

Pre- and post-treatment care
The treatment should be performed after menstruation.
In the case of a vaginal infection, treatment can only be done after full recovery.
A negative cytology result (not older than 2 months) is required prior to the procedure.
If cytology shows significant abnormalities (e.g., P3 with ASCUS, L-SIL, H-SIL, CIN, or P4), surgical removal may be necessary instead.
After the treatment
The healing process occurs naturally, but following these simple rules helps ensure a smooth recovery:
Use a panty liner to manage minor discharge.
Avoid vaginal douching and tampon use.
Do not use vaginal suppositories for a few days.
Refrain from intense physical activity and sexual intercourse for several days.
Attend a follow-up examination at the time recommended by your doctor.
