When is the treatment not recommended?
Hyaluronic acid lip augmentation is not recommended in the following cases:
Under 18 years of age
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Allergy to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine
Active herpes, fever, or inflammatory disease
Use of anticoagulants
Infected or inflamed skin in the treatment area
Important: If you have a history of lip or nasal herpes, it is advised to take antiviral medication before and after the procedure to prevent recurrence.
